DETERMINATION: Working in collaboration with local secondary schools, our academy provides turn-around placements aimed at preventing permanent exclusion and supporting pupils to overcome learning barriers. Throughout our academy, we encourage and nurture determination in students, helping them to successfully reintegrate into mainstream education or the next stage of their post-16 journey
PRIDE: Teaching students to take pride in themselves, their learning, and their school is essential for their personal development and success. Encouraging students to have self-respect and confidence helps them build healthy self-esteem and a positive mindset. By instilling a sense of pride, students learn the value of hard work, perseverance, resilience and dedication. Showing pride in their school fosters a sense of community and belonging, encouraging students to be active participants in their educational journey. Overall, teaching students to show pride in themselves, their learning, and their school sets a strong foundation for their future growth and success
